FRP chimneys, duct systems, storage tanks, scrubbers, pipes, spray banks and more.
New Delhi, India – next week the Global Energy Technology Summit (GETS) 2016 will take place. Indian and global industrial professionals will gather to exchange their knowledge for the Power Industry. This event will encourage the discussion of current and future developments and trends of the power industry.
During the GETS, Plasticon Composites will present a paper for the application of FRP, fiberglass reinforced plastics, at power industries. One of our senior experts will present a specific case study of a project we recently executed. Not only will the choice for FRP material be highlighted and the benefits of using the composite material for ducts and chimneys, but the approach of the project by-pass systems and the challenge of reducing costs and avoiding shut downs of the power station will be discussed.
FRP is a corrosion resistant material, lightweight and easy to install. In Europe and the USA a majority of the coal fired power stations renovated their plant equipment by applying the FGD processes. Composite material turned out to be a great, cost efficient and long-term solution. Only success of FRP material can be proven, by selecting the right supplier. We have a list of large international EPC’s that would state that Plasticon Composites is a supplier that meets all international standards of HSE and Quality and can be the best partner for FGD equipment.
