Bio Filters

Plasticon Europe made a standardisation from 1000 mm diameter to 6500 diameter in a single and double stage execution. -The Plasticon Bio-Airclean filter provides a top-class, environmental-friendly, and relatively inexpensive solution for large and small odour and H2S on sewage plants.

Performance

In the GRP column with a thermoplastic liner are different kinds of Airfilla (carrier material for the micro-organism) up to a height of 4000 mm (max.)

The Airfilla rests on an air distribution system. In this way the waste gases are carried away via the Airfilla. The Airfilla will be sprayed with water. In the column the H2S will be oxidised with the help of micro-organisms into SO4. We have over 10 years experience with biological odour treatment in the Dutch and German sewage market.

Advantages of the Bio-Airclean-Filter

•  it is available in standard modules with capacities from 150 m3/h to 11.000 m3/h (capacity approximately 330 m3/m2/h, in some instances to 500 m3/m2/h)
•  very low drop of pressure over the filter (about 200 to 300 Pa)
•  very low water consumption (approximately 30 litre/m2/h)
•  very long stand time from the Airfilla (about 15 years)
• operating costs are minimal, maintenance costs are very low.
