Plasticon Europe, founded in 1877, has corporate seat in Enschede and headquarters in Oldenzaal, The Netherlands. Historically, Plasticon Europe was a company operating within the textile industry under the name of N.V. Spinnerij Tubantia v/h/ Firma B.W. en H. ter Kuile.
Forced by the restructuring of the textile industry, Plasticon Europe decided to alter its strategy in the 1950s. Plasticon Europe responded to the changing environment by diversifying its production. Plasticon Europe positioned itself as an organisation specialising in plastics processing and ancillary services.
Plasticon Europe operate through Plasticon Europe Companies. A group of companies that design, manufacture and install all forms of FRP pipe systems, vessels and other related equipment requiring high levels of corrosion resistance.
Plasticon Europe markets its products through its subsidairies in The Netherlands, Germany, United Kindom, Belgium, France, Poland, Finland, Thailand, Malaysia and the USA. Currently Plasticon Europe has 1100 employees world wide.
