Little Marlow WwTW is operated by the Thames Water Authority, the works was recently up-graded to take account of the increase in the local population, this up-grade included a new Inlet Works, Sludge Treatment facility and an extension to the existing Composting Plant.

Working with the main contractor, Plasticon Europe, undertook the complete design, manufacture, installation, testing and commissioning of the extract and odour treatment requirements for the new Inlet Works and Sludge Treatment facility dealing with mainly hydrogen sulphide emissions from this sector of the works.

The Liverpool WwTW has been up-graded to include new BAFF facility with the majority of the existing equipment where emissions of odour was detected had GRP covers installed with a ducted system to a common odour treatment facility.

Wednesday, 21-09-2005, Plasticon Europe delivered 2 stack sections to Glanzstoff, St. Pölten – Austria.

These GRP sections were assembled on site and once erected, be the largest  free standing stack in Europe.

Height of the stack is 80 meters, with a diameter of 4.5 meters

Plasticon Europe was awarded a 10,1 meter diameter stack, 100 meter height.

This stack is actually produced on site at Kozienice power plant, Poland.

Re:       Appointment L. Stutvoet as CEO Plasticon Holding BV

On behalf of the shareholders and the supervisory board we are happy to announce that Mr. L. Stutvoet Ir. MBA has been appointed as CEO as of July 25^th.

He succeeds Mr. Peter Bey Ir. who managed the company the last 14 months as interim manager. During this period the strategy was set and a large part of the trading activities of Hanwel Europe was sold. After this restructuring, Plasticon is in a healthy financial position and looking forward to further expand its position.

Leendert Stutvoet is 46 years old and holds an engineering degree. The last 15 years he has held commercial and general management positions in industry, at amongst others DSM and AVR. His last position was CEO of Gouda Vuurvast NV.
